Information we collect

Information you provide

When you reserve or rent a unit, we collect the details needed to process and service your booking, which may include your name, email address, phone number, billing address, alternate-contact information, driver's license number, and the unit and facility you select. Payment card details are entered through, and processed by, our storage-management provider's secure systems; we do not store full card numbers on this website.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, device and browser type, screen and viewport size, pages and units viewed, links and buttons clicked (such as phone-number and directions clicks), referring website, and general location and marketing-attribution data (for example UTM parameters and Google Click Identifiers).

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, measure the performance of our advertising, and show you relevant ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings and the opt-out tools described below; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.

Analytics and advertising

We work with third-party providers to measure and improve our website and marketing:

• Google Analytics 4 (with Google signals / Ads Personalization). We use Google Analytics to understand site usage. With Google signals and Ads Personalization enabled, Google may associate this activity with signed-in Google users who have turned on Ads Personalization, providing enriched, cross-device audience and conversion measurement. • Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing. We measure which ads lead to reservations or move-ins and may show you ads for our facilities on Google and partner sites after you visit (remarketing), based on audiences built from your site activity.
• Microsoft Clarity. We use Clarity to capture aggregated, de-identified usage information such as heatmaps and session activity to improve the site. See Microsoft's privacy statement.

If we send hashed customer data to Google to improve measurement ("user-provided data"), we do so only for data you have consented to share, in a privacy-safe (hashed) manner, and we maintain the disclosures and rights required for such use. We do not use these advertising features for any sensitive category prohibited by Google's policies.

We share information with: our storage-management and payment-processing providers to complete your booking; analytics and advertising providers (such as Google and Microsoft) as described above; and other service providers acting on our behalf. We may also disclose information to comply with the law, protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

Your choices and opt-outs

• Ad personalization: manage or turn off personalized Google ads at My Ad Center (adssettings.google.com).
• Google Analytics: opt out of Analytics across sites with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• Industry opt-outs: manage advertising cookies via the DAA and NAI opt-out pages.
• Browser controls: block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and use any "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals your browser offers.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
